TestMouseDPI is a small, independent project with one goal: make checking your mouse DPI quick, accurate and easy to understand.

Why we built it

We tried the popular online DPI testers and kept running into the same problems: confusing instructions, screen calibration that breaks when you change zoom, and results that varied wildly between runs. So we built the tool we wanted. It reads raw mouse counts wherever the browser allows, explains each step in plain language, and shows statistics so you know how much to trust the result.

What we believe

• Accuracy first. We measure the signal your mouse actually sends, not an estimate.
• Simple by default. Three steps, no jargon, no sign-up.
• Private. Everything runs in your browser. We don’t collect movement data or personal information.
• Free for everyone. In eight languages, on any desktop browser.
